DEVLOG #1
Well, here it is at last, the official website is out and that means I can finally share a home space for any one interested in this game.
My current goals are to release a finished demo some time in 2023, allowing me to apply for Steam(PC), Nintendo switch, and Playstation support.
I do everything myself (aside from my music team) so please be patient as we embark on this journey, I promise that this game will not disappoint once it’s finished.
Here’s a quick summary on what to expect the game to be about:
Paradoxo is an RPG game set in an apocalyptic world, I love games such as the walking dead, and heavy rain, so for this game I want to allow as much freedom as I can for the players to have multiple different impacts within the story. Example: something as simple as randomly choosing to shoot an NPC during the tutorial can start a brand new story line that will also change future sequences of events (see picture below).

As you can see from above, the player randomly decided to use the gun that was given to him to shoot his dad instead of listening to the tutorial, this started a new mini boss battle which would not usually happen in the story, and because your father is now dead, future plot points will also be changed.
I don’t just want this to be an illusion where a character was going to die anyways, NO! I want the players to actually FEEL like they’re impacting the story.
Another example is if you have a “HUNTER” class pet, they can catch a character running away that wouldn’t have been caught otherwise (see picture below)

Other classes of pets can do other things, but I don’t want to share too many details yet 🙂
Well this is the end for this week’s Devlog, be sure to come back next Monday for more updates on this game,
