



DEVLOG #4
This has been the hardest programming week so far haha.
I was finally able to complete the Asher boss battle from last week, then quickly started working on the save and load feature.

As you can see, each load files shows your name, current area, level, and party members.
This was so difficult to achieve because I had to manually write thousands of lines of codes in order to get it properly working for not just one slot, but three slots.
I am not a professional programmer by any means, so I’m happy I was able to get it down exactly how I want it to.

Now that I finished the save and load function, it’ll allow me to test things a lot quicker as I don’t have to completely replay the game from 0 every time I want to test new features.
Where do I go from here? hmm. I want to complete the set up for the sky to eventually and completely break, then I can start on the school version of the game (if your character went to school instead of work) and once that version is done, I can finally release the demo and Kickstarter.

And that’s the end of the devlog. I know, it was short, I mostly focused on the save and load features, but don’t worry! I’ll see you guys next Monday!
